OUR HISTORY
Our School, which began education with a Nursing program in 1990, added a Midwifery program in 1992. Since the decision was made by the Supreme Health Council and the Ministry of Health and the Council of Higher Education to provide education in four-year Health Colleges, students have not been accepted into the associate degree Nursing and Midwifery programs since 1996.
In 1999, the Medical Documentation and Secretarial and Medical Laboratory programs were opened. In 2009, Medical Documentation and Secretarial Secondary Education, First and Emergency Aid, Elderly Care, Dental Prosthesis Technology, Oral and Dental Health, Physiotherapy in the 2010-2011 academic year, and Operating Room Services programs were added in the 2016-2017 academic year. As of 2017, the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Secondary Education program has not admitted students by decision of the Council of Higher Education.
Our school currently offers eight programs, including Medical Documentation and Secretarial Studies, Medical Laboratory Techniques, First and Emergency Aid, Elderly Care, Dental Prosthesis Technology, Oral and Dental Health, Physiotherapy, and Operating Room Services. Our students take intensive theoretical and practical courses during their two-year associate degree program and receive practical training at our university's Gaziantep Research and Application Hospital during their first and second year. Upon graduation, they are among the preferred candidates in both the public and private healthcare sectors.
